This movie was by far my favorite of the three. There wasn’t actually anything I disagreed with this time. None of the religious conspiracy theories. I’m very impressed, I recommend you watch it.

And especially let us never forget why it happened…

My View on the “Ground-Zero Mosque”

You’ve probably seen my incredibly proactive picture I drew on “Draw Muhammad Day”, so you may be surprised about my stance on the mosque. I am for it, and here’s my short commentary on the matter:

Do Republicans realize that Osama Bin Laden and other radical Muslims are also against the building of the “ground-zero mosque” (Which isn’t really at ground-zero)?

This whole charade is completely ridiculous. Out of one side of their mouth the Republicans chant freedom and the bill of rights then out of the other demand that the first amendment be thrown out the window and force the Muslims not to move there because it’s offensive.

Bin Laden opposes it because it’s very point for being there is to promote inter-faith peace. Republicans oppose it because they’re hypocritical ass-holes.

Get a fucking clue.

I forgot three days ago to post the picture I had made. Well here it is!

An Examination of Human Nature and the Discontents of Authority

Let it be known that I do not necessarily agree with the views expressed in the videos below. I have provided so many for the purpose of providing different points of view and a broad context on the matter.

Now for the next series:

Now another series:

And to finish it off:

After viewing all these videos I have become very torn.

I think human nature is basically selfish. But also that selfishness is not a bad thing. That, in-fact, the right kind of selfishness is very good and is a healthy construct for morality.

I do not like Socialism because it refutes selfishness and attempts to oppress me with it’s own vision of morality; the same kind boasted by classical religion which is a pollutant of intellectual progress.

But I do not like Capitalism either because it has a foundation upon mind-control. It is merely another version of the state except that the state is authoritative through non-voluntary means whereas Capitalism is authoritative through means of indoctrination and retardation of the masses. Statism and Capitalism have the same ends except the state forces you there while Capitalism tricks you there.

A voice deep within me cries “There must be another alternative!”, but I don’t know what it is.

So for now I will say this:

Direct politics is of trivial importance. No matter what government or lack thereof you have it will still be all for nothing if you have an intellectually bankrupt people. The key to changing society for the better is not through government but through culture; through philosophy and through science.

The Internet’s Effect on Religion.

Either We Grow-up or Die.

How long is it going to take before we finally start learning from the mistakes of the past? It has been joked with that religion is like a children’s game, believing in an imaginary friend. But it is so much worse than that. Many of the people with these irrational beliefs are powerful leaders and influential world-players. History has consistently shown us the horrible price of putting  superstitious psychopaths in control over the masses. Through years and years of wars, ethnic cleansings, scourges, slavery, torturings, witch hunts, imprisonments, atrocities and unspeakable genocides, all in the name of religion, it seems we still must place the trust of our well-being in the hands of madmen who decide the fate of many with tactics equivalent of reading the entrails of a chicken.

The Burning Times - an engraving by Jan Luyken of women being burned as witches or heretics by rosewithoutathorn84.

Members of almost all major religions have supposedly been called upon and justified by their God and dogma to commit the most unthinkable acts everyday since their rise to power. And the less powerful, who want their name heard, may resort to just as horrible of acts.

Religion has done more evil and destruction than any other of man’s inventions and soon, during this nuclear age, if enough is not said about it, we may not be around to say anything else.

So if we are to some-day look back on history from a time entranced by the barren and deathly after-math of far reaching nuclear holocaust; let it be known that it was due to the extremely unfortunate coincidence of gaining the ability to induce mass destruction, before we got over the neurological disorder of wishing for it.

So there it is people; grow-up or die.
